we are paying 167 for the cheapest unleaded up here in Maine. Sucks. Thank god my girlfriends Escort get 35 mpg. My Pathfinder gets 15 on a good day. Yeah time to buy a Scooter, 95 mpg. I will look funny trying to tow the Sportsman on the trailer with a 50CC Scooter. but if it goes to 3 bucks a gallon, a scooter will look very appealing.

Yea this sucks. I HAVE to put 93 octane in my car, and my Jetski cause it has high compression. This summer I am thinking I will be spending about $350 a month on gas, considering each time out with the Jetski sucks down 16 gallons.

Sorry your upset about your Canadian wage. I can't help you there. I was simply trying to make a point that the prices are similar. Only differce is your's is sold by the liter rather than the gallon. So it only seems like more. We all are feeling the pinch and it sucks...

One month ago on the way to Glamis, stopped for gas in Calipatria, regular 87 was $2.01.
My brother just got back from San Francisco, up there it was $2.35.
It sucks big time when you drive a big-block dually.

Dont mean to rub it in y'all faces but down here at places 87 octane is 1.30 and 93 about 1.50 and that is not the habib marts either.

I agree...gas prices are ridiculus. Cheapest around here is 1.61. May be time to keep the truck for towing quads, and buy a Honda Civic, or some other high MPG rice burner. $3.00 something a gallon??? That is outrageous.

Last night on the news they were comparing gas prices and said that in the UK gas use selling for $2.00 /liter CND. WOW, it would cost me $116.00 to fill the CR-V. Thats $4.85 US/Gal

The VW Jetta TDI diesel gets 55MPG hiway cruseing at 55MPH and 50MPG at 70MPH. and farm diesel is only $1.25 a gallon, it is a very good buy! In the winter farm diesel is about .087 cents so it makes the jetta almost free to drive!

All I know is I'm going to be riding the motorcycles as much as possible this summer! 65 mpg should get me through the summer! I hope things don't get so bad that I have to break out the bicycle!

Hey, so what would be the economy gas champion of ATV's?? Polaris Diesel??
