Hey JRM in SD it carries a healthy fine for using farm fuel in highway vehicles. I have heard of $1,000 fines. I do know the D.O.T. routinely checks diesel vehicles to ensure they are burning diesel fuel that has been taxed for highway use. Just a heads-up.

 

yeah, if you use the red high sulfer off road diesel they can check it and find out...but the stations around here sell the same green stuff and just refund the tax money.

 

yea over $3.00 for gas prices is totally outragous
my 87' Reliant gets around 30-32mpg so it shouldnt be that bad but thats gotta suck for the people with trucks and cars with big engines, might wanna syphon some gas out of those neighbors cars who always complain about the noise of the quad? lol
