its still a thumper that would take about $10,000 including the price of the vehicle to be able to even stay with in two quad distance of my 87 banshee thats not even stroked or big bored or longed rod yet!! You will pay more for less!maintance will kill you, cams, rockers,valves, not to mention all the clutches you will burn out.Not to mention your parts are krazy exp. too.Belive me I know about thumpers! If you keep it stock with slight modds, pipe intake youll be ok but you will still eat my sand every time.

I do have a respect for the ds650 even know im a true honda rider!!! But do u guys even have quads? U are acting like little kids come on!!! and u dude with the banshee if u have a problem with the ds keep it to yourself and if u dont want to bring it!! try to race one until then no quad bashing!!

hey dont be talking stuff to the "banshee dude" me and him built my 465 which will kill all your bikes and as far as the banshee goes i drag race that, it will beat the sh*t out of any ds or craptor. What do you mean bring it ive brang and then some with the banshee and whooped on every ds or raptor.

Chris my first dirt bike was a 1971 honda 100sl a thumper the the honda Elsenor 2 stroke was the badest back then. I loved my thumper. I have a banshee only so when my sons 465 cant beat the bigger 2 strokes. but let me tell you the reason why i have spent so much money on our honda is because i love the look on peoples faces when they see my son smoking every oneup the hill at glamis on a honda thumper ds,rapters, and especialy the banshees. I LOVE HONDA's but it was $$$$$$$$

 

You know thumpers? I dont think so! DS650's don't have rocker arms! I have two thumpers that will spank your bansee.
IT DOES NOT TAKE MUCH MONEY TO BEAT A banshee.

I'd like to see some pictures of that 465. I to like Honda's in fact I sandrag (bracket racing) and my 440 does pretty well. I can take stock Raptors and DS's with equally weighted riders, but put a skinny guy on it and he will get me in the end. But not until the end of a 1/4 mile.
