I have a buddy looking to buy a late 80s early 90s 300 fourtrax. He wants to do the crazy water build with 15 inch lift and 10ft snorkel lol. He said he could run 30" tires no lift. ( Doubt it) doesn't need a gear reduction won't need any motor work or nothing, will work fine with stock internals? Drivetrain and everything. True or not?

 

Not gonna be enough machine for serious mud running!! Yep they were great machines and bullit proof but no where near enough power.....

 

definitely need more than a 500 auto not a 300
