Hi there, new here. I just got my hands on an '86 TRX200SX. Got it for only $240 because it had an oil leak right by the chain. After taking the left crankcase cover / stator cover off, it's apparent that the leak is coming from the big gaping hole that ripped out and was filled with some kind of putty, which was not something I could see before I bought it. The cover itself is about $350 on eBay, but didn't want to spend so much because there's many other problems to fix. I DID see the same piece from a 97 TRX200D Type 2 for less cash, and it looks nearly identical. Does anyone know first hand if I'd be able to use the one from the Type 2?
