Im a first time rider and i was wandering if the 250EX is a good fourwheeler to get?

 

I've never ridden one but i can say that they are great little quads. If you are into tight trail riding and dont want to learn a manual tranny then its great...even better if you are a beginner.
Personally i would get (and did) a 300ex. It's got a lot better suspension, is faster, there's more of an aftermarket following and it has a manual transmission which makes it more of a sport quad.
Either way you'll be happy but the 300ex will give you something to grow into.

 

the 250ex is a great biggeners bike. i rode one around a little track and through some mud and it went great everywhere. it was great in the trails and felt like it had some decent power. it took jumps pretty good too but its a little too light in the front for my liking. plus the handle bars dont feel right at all. but other than that its a great four wheeler.

 

The bike is a little tippy and pushes (understeers) a little in the turns, but these aren't major problems. My daughter must have put near a 100 hrs. on ours by now and it's going strong.
