Default Foreman rims/tires on a Rancher?

Looking to replace my worn out factory tires on my 2007 Rancher ES 4x4. Have an opportunity to buy a brand new set of 2018 Foreman tires/wheels.

Tire sizes on my Rancher are currently 24x8-12 and 24x10-11 in the rear.
Foreman sizes are 25x8-12 and 25x10-12 in the rear.

Will these fit? Any issues such as increased rollover chances or loss of speed/handling/safety?

Is this a good thing to do? Help!

Thanks!

25" OD tyres will fit fine and the difference in gearing won't be noticeable. Just check the offset at the rear, I'm fairly sure it will be the same, but too narrow and the LH wheel hits the exhaust, too wide and it can catch the rear wheelarch (unlikely). Anyone wanting to go more aggressive on tyres has a wider choice with 12" wheel rims but I suspect using the same width tyres and only up 1" on OD it won't be better or worse on handling etc.

Thanks for the info.

Honestly, I’m thinking about just getting the Maxxis Bighorn 2 tires and using my OEM rims.

Honda engineers must have had a good reason to use those sizes???

"Honda engineers must have had a good reason to use those sizes"

Seems to be a tradition with Honda as they used 11" rears on the 300, 350 and 420 models. The Foreman models have always used 12" all round. It is a nuisance as many makes and patterns are not available for 11" rims.
