Recon 250ES problem.....

My uncle has a 2003 Recon 250ES. He recently went to start and found battery dead. While trying to jumpstart he reversed the leads, now the machine will not power on at all, recommendations for troubleshooting?

Check main fuse first close the battery

Found that immediately but it's good.

Have you checked it with a multimeter? Bet it isn't good. Either that or the battery is completely shot and isn't providing any power to the ignition switch.
