Hey guys,

I had a major problem getting the bearings out of the axel carrier the first time I tried it. I tried for hours until someone gave me some very simple but effective advice. All you have to do is take the carrier and turn it on its end and then smack it down on a piece of wood. A couple of good whacks and the bearings will slide on out.

If it is still a little tough you can use a torch and heat up the carrier a little to loosen things up.

Regards,

Dennis

You could also try using a drift to knock out the bearings.

Do you have to grease the bearings as a maintenence thing? How often?... has anyone done this?
