Default Foreman 450 stator plug

This is what I found on my 2000 Foreman 450. The plug on the harness side of the stator connection must have been broken at some time. What would you do: Replace the harness? Splice in a used plug? Tape it up and run it? Any other suggestions?

I used to try to find a used plug on the end of some old wiring and cut and solder the wires together. This works OK but there is always a possibility of water getting into the joints and corroding the soldered wires. Recently I have been prying the plastic barbs in the plug back, and shoving the spade connectors out, sometimes you can re connect the wires and stick the spades back in, sometimes you can find another spade connector that fits. Cheapo Chinese regulators, CDIs etc, come with spare connectors in the boxes, which I use for such problems. If you are really desperate you can cut both plugs off and use whatever type of connectors you like, to join them back together.

That is good advice.
What I do is cover wires I want to waterproof with pure silicone caulk, or silicone sealant for faucets.
They also make liquid electrical tape, or black permatex, if you want to spend more money.

Thanks for the input so far guys, I contacted RMStator yesterday because they have one that comes with their stator, but they do not sell it on its own. I'll check eBay for some cheapos now. Does anyone have a photo of their harness or the harness routing page of the manual, so I can see the correct way to clip the 3 plugs onto the frame.

Thanks again
