Default 2002 Rancher 350 Head Bolts (not the nuts) Torque

Anyone know what the torque spec is for the 2 bolts that sit outboard of the push-rod on the head. These are 2 long 6 mm bolts not the 4 main head nuts.
I don't see a value listed in my manual.

I don't think they are listed, Honda expects common sense, so you tighten them like any other M6 bolt, oil filter for example. There can be a problem with them, I have known many to be seized and snap rather than come out when dismantling, and the odd one to strip the thread at a far lower torque than normal. Rocker cover bolts sometimes strip threads this way too, I think if the engine has overheated due to oil shortage, it softens the aluminium.

1 of mine broke off and I had to use a welder to get it out. I'll be light on the torque, worst case it will seep a little at the base gasket.
