I was wondering if anyone has purchased the 2+1 recreation a-arms from Denton racing? I bought a set about a month ago and from my experience they are junk. When I tried to put them on, the first thing I noticed is the grease zerks on the upper a-arms hit the frame on my 400EX. I had to use a die grinder on my frame so they wouldn't hit. The second thing I noticed was when I was riding. The a-arms rattle back and forth at the mounting brackets at the frame. It sounds like I tied a bunch of aluminum cans to the underside of my quad while I am riding. I called Denton immediately on this and they gave me the manufacturers #. The guy at the manufacturing place says that play in the a-arm joints is normal with a-arms with brass bushings. I think he's full of it but I have no experience with a-arms. Any help would be appreciated, Dave

 

Does anyone know anything about a- arms? Are they suppose to have play where they mount to the frame? My stock a- arms had no play at the frame mounts.

 

THey shouldn't do that i wouldn't think. i would call denton and complain. They are usually good with cust. service.

 

Spoke with Denton Racing today. They have excellent customer support. They are sending out a new set of a-arms today. I'm glad to see a company that warranties its products.
