I am looking to get new shocks and and a-arms for my 250r. I want to start racing mx but it will never be more than a few times a month. I am thinking about tcs for the 0-preload. I dont have the money for axis and dont feel i need them. WHat do you think will be best for me. Also have you heard about elka shocks? Could you please tell me prices and anything else i should know.PLease tell me all option about relvalving stock shocks and the improvement of these shock.

I still want to be able to ride at the dunes. Will zero preload work there? Can you adjust the ride height?
Thanks

Yes the TCS will work excellent everywhere. I would say go with them. I have a friend with them on his 400EX. I rode it around yesterday, and i really liked the action of those shocks. Sorry i dont know about elka, but have heard good things.

TCS shocks are good BUT they just raised there prices $100 across the board, they are using different shafts and rez's. So you might just want to go with axis seeing how TCS triple rate with rez's go for $920 now and 1month ago they were $820. I will say that I have dealt with TCS and they are always very nice to deal with so either way you'll be happy.
