So I just purchased my first atv 2 weeks ago and noticed today that it is leaking oil out of the right side of the machine (where I circled in the picture) I noticed there is a screw missing on the right side, could this be what’s causing it? Thanks

That is where the oil filter is. Looking at the diagram, the one that is missing is a different size than the one you still have. Not sure on the exact size to pick one up locally.

thanks for the reply, I feel dumb now I wasn’t sure what was in there lol. So the screw not being there is what’s making the oil leak out?
Don't know the EX but other Hondas have that type of filter cover and it has an O ring on it which can leak. Almost certain to be the missing screw at fault, but new O rings come with new filters anyway.
