have 2013 Honda trx500fm will idle but wont accel has 18 code blinking 1 long and 8 short my manual doesnt have 18 blinks Has anyone had this issue? Thanks in advance,

 

I guess being an overgrown 420, it will use the same fault codes as a 420. I'm off work for the holiday so can't check the 420 manual though. Been racking my brain and can't remember ever having had a 420 fault code anything on the EFI system, (we only maintained one of those 2012/13 only, 500s and that got stolen). Have had broken/chewed wires, fuel pump failures, blocked filters in pump canister and injector, faulty throttle position sensors, failed ECUs, faulty relays, etc, but none of 'em brought up a code.
