i have a 300ex that had no spark. i messed around with it and got it to spark. at first i had power to the switch and start button and could get the motor to crank but no spark. now i can start it without the key even in it using a screwdriver on the solenoid. it also does not charge the battery and just kills it. brand new battery. any ideas on how to get the switch and start button to work

 

I got a 96 300ex for inexpensively a month prior. I have fixed the majority of the issues as of now. I just have one issue left, I have cleaned the carb multiple times and introduced another remake a long time prior. Stock needles and supplanted everything.
