well i road my 300ex the day before yesterday, and it was snowing today so i decided i would ride, well i tried starting it up but the battery was weak so i tryed jump starting it. It would work but for some reason my quad wont start,i can rarley get it started and keep it started for liek 5 seconds than it will die... i kept it in the garage so im pretty sure no water went in the carb. I think its getting a good spark(havent bothered looking). Would u suggest a new spark plug, and i road it fine a couple days ago so no problem w/ my fuel. and ideas?

 

why dont you try choking it honda 300ex is a cold blooded machine

 

already tried yesterday... havent tried today i will try to start it later... i may end up checking my spark plug also just to make sure im running ok

 

definitly check ur spark plug

 

when mine wont start i take off the air box and clean er out...dust someitmes clog um or somphin...and if that dont work u get out the starter fluid and spray it in...after bout 15 minutes the dust and grime smell that was in their will go away...(while revving it the engine spit or burnt it out) ...it might help might not...thats what i did when mine came back from gettin fixed...
