I'd like to hear what you think about Honda's new TraxLock 2wd/4wd system. I say it is about time. Its a very nice feature to have and makes a Honda much more appealing.

yep, long overdue! I wish my rubicon had it, but then again I will be very mad if next years does I miss the powerslides and endless cookies on ice and tight turns on pavement is a bummer with the full time 4wd.
This does prove that honda IS lisening to us, ATV action let the cat out of the bag on hondas new 450RF sport quad and yamahas 660 wolverine

That is only one thing that was long overdue. The still need to fix the front diff and get disc brakes. I'm not buying a new Honda until that happens.

I was waiting for the new ruby to come out with all these changes last year and they didnt so I bought a sportsman h.o. if they want to get my money they will at least have to have disc brakes, switchable 2 to 4. and after getting used to the IRS I dont know if i could do witout it.

Well guys in pretty interested in this system too, mainly because i just bought one of these new ones. It is gunna be in early next week and im excited. I mean it wont drive a whole lot different with it in 2 wheel drive or gain that much power, ill just be burning out everywhere possible with the much power. Im still not certain aobut how it exactly works cause the guys at the dealership didnt know either. From what i read i understand that it is in the new front differential and there is a clutch that shuts it on and off. I sure hope it works, im not lookin forward to workin bugs out of a new system but i am lookin forward to this sweet ride.

I'll wait until they come out with the Trax-Lok on the Rubicon before I trade again. By then, they'll probably have a 650 motor on it. You can bet Honda is working on an IRS system too. It may a couple of years off, but they'll come up with something. Hey, they always do, right?
