I have a question that I should know, but I don't, so I need some help. My son and I are wanting to build a quad. He wants a 250x. My question is, will a 250x motor fit in a 250r frame?, without alot of modifications. I can't see why it won't work, but not quit sure. I could really use some help on this, thanks

 

Yes a 250X engine will fit in the R frame but some mods will be needed.

Mods of what kind? Will I need to due welding to the frame, or will it just be mechanical mods? Thanks for the help Eric

 

I'm sure you will need to do some welding and/or cutting on the frame.
