Right now I am looking at both a Honda 300EX and a Yamaha Warrior. I am 5'1" and a very experienced rider. What is an overall better choice?

Go with the 300, they might be a little slower in spead but they kill a warior in handling any day!

The 300ex is probably better suited to your size. They're both quality machines.

300ex. It handles better. If you are more into power go with the warrior. The warrior is only faster. All around the 300ex is better. But just out of curiosity, did you post this same message in the yamaha forum. I hope you did. Considering that if you post something about a honda and another quad, the honda will always win.

Get a 300ex superior handling and suspension. A warrior isnt that much faster but it sure s heavier. They are pretty good for running stuff over though.

I have not ridden the 300ex, but my brother and my cousin both have warriors. Compared to my 400ex the Warrior feels like it has no suspension what-so-ever! I do know that the Warrior is a bullit proof quad, and has beat the 300 in a drag race in all the racing we do. But, if I were you I would skip both and get the 400ex unless reverse is a must for you.
