Hunters found a 28 year old man laying dead next to his Banshee this morning.
He was riding alone at 5pm after being released from jail. Something happenend while he was jumping a rock pile. He was wearing a helmet.
He had no cuts, so I'm thinking he must have broke his neck.
NEVER RIDE ALONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear of this. It puts our sport in perspective. It is a dangerous sport and we are subject to injury or death.
I know a man who, amongst other things, sells used cars. He traded for a utility quad which he took home for his kids. He tells his 14 year old daughter to stay off the quad until he can buy her a helmet. She and a friend slip off when mom and dad are away and get upside down somehow on the edge of a pond. The friend isn't hurt but the daughter is pinned under the quad in the water. The friend gets help and they revive the daughter but she has suffered skull and brain trauma. She has been in a coma for over two years and has just now opened her eyes and seems to respond some when someone talks to her. This is good news but had she just listened to her dad this could have been avoided.
I hate to hear it when anyone gets hurt but especially when it's in a hobby like ours. The Envirorvental ***** are looking for all ammunition to shut us down and outlaw ATV and bikes.
Next, when nothing is left but walking, and someone trips and falls down a ravine then hiking will be outlawed except for the enviro-***** "who must be allowed to patrol the trails to prevent damage to the land" and the rest of us....well I think you get the picture.
Hey!........Be careful out there.

you know whats bad? if people were not so stupid and brainless, the goverment wouldn't have laws to make. as long as there are stupid people in the world, we will have laws that affect us all. Poeple need to take responsibility for their own actions and not sue because "the coffee was too hot @ McDonalds". dah! nobody told me! dah! so i'm not responsible!
