03 trx650 just had the carb cleaned by honda chand plug and boot took it for it first long ride today then started cutting out after 1/4 throttle after about 2 miles in what do i need to do?

 

Change the plug again, a new plug doesn't always mean a good plug. If that doesn't fix it, I would be tempted to take it back to the Honda dealer, they may have got something wrong with the carb rebuild. I assume there was something wrong with the bike before, otherwise why clean the carb out? If so, whoever worked on it, may not have got to the bottom of the problem.

 

May try to remove air box lid and see if runs better with the lid off if it does may check the air snorkle for dirtdobber nest which will make atv run rich and by removing air box lid will give more air to equal out the rich fuel issue if runs same like said before may have jets installed wrong like starting[choke] jet installed where the main jet goes which would make atv run leaner
