How do razrs compare to holeshots? do they last longer?
#2
I was told today by a high performance shop that the Holeshots provide a little better hook-up than the Razors, but the compound of the Razors make it last a little longer. He said there is really not enough difference to easily tell one way or the other. I was going to go with the Razors simply for the logo on the sidewall, but Rocky Mountain ATV was out of stock, so I went with the Holeshots.

I run both on my EX for cross country racing. The straight line traction is close enough that it's hard to tell a difference (maybe a very slight advantage to the Holeshots) - however.... The RAZR's powerslide thru the turns much better and more predictably.
Being an old three wheeler rider, I much prefer the sliding ability of the RAZRs and didn't like my Holeshots at all, at first. Now, I've gotten used to the Holeshots, they're not quite so bad, but I still much prefer the RAZRs for how I ride and what I do.
Tread life on the RAZR's is probably a bit better mostly because of the larger lugs, but both have been doing fairly well & are scrubbed down to just less than 50%...
