I purchased a 2005 honda recon a few months ago, it seemed to run great. No smoke or anything

Recently, i had to drain the oil to remove the crankcase cover to replace the clutch adjustment screw. After putting all back together with fresh oil, it has started smoking. Did i do something wrong?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

If it is smoking from the end of the exhaust, you have probably put too much oil in. If smoke is coming from engine covers or outside of exhaust, you have spilt oil on it and this is now burning off.
