1984 125m atc
Hey everyone, newbie to the forums here...
so I recently had to change the ignition on my 125m. After doing so, and hooking all wires back together, there is no spark. i thought maybe one of the wires was missed connected (still has neutral light and headlights come on, starter works too) so i sought out a wiring harness diagram (its in black and white) on said diagram, it shows a few wires labeled as "Dg". Im wondering what that stands for.... direct ground, dark green?? Thanks in advance, hope everyones Friday is going well

Probably dark green, if it is the earth wires it will be, as dark greens are used for earths in Hondaland. Fairly sure those early bikes were standard AC CDI ignition, so all ignition wiring is totally separate from the battery operated wiring. What did you change on the ignition anyway, and why?

I ended up having to change the ignition because of a "lost key" (somewhere in the storage unit) so i found i cheap chinese one till I find the oem key. Said cheap ignition switch had different colored wires coming out than factory. Cheap had- black, red, red/black, and an off orange. Ended up being a crossed wire. She's back up and running strong👍🍻
