I know for a fact that you can clear a 45 foot double in upper second gear because we did it every Wed night at a local track. I never believed it until I tried it. However, it depends greatly on the angle of the jump. Here is a tip, the higher the rate of incline, the farther you go. I have pics of people standing on their seats trying to touch the tires of the quads going over this jump and barely being able to do it. I would guess about 11-12 feet high to go 45ft in second gear. Probably about a 35-40 degree incline.
