well, in my town many of the residents have complained about my riding, and are starting to close off all of my favorite spots.

So i was thinking about selling my 330 and buying a foreman 400, rubicon, or a sportsman 500.

So i can go to the local mudding spot that is an actual riding part. the 2x4s don't do good there, too much mud.

I think i can get 5k out of my 330. Since its a 2000, looks brand new and has all that stuff, and it almost totally race ready.

What do you guys think? I don't have the money to keep it and get a 4x4. So its either keep the 330 and not ride because people are complaining. And just go get stuck all the time at the creeks. Or buy a 4x4 and chill out in the mud.

 

are you crazy ? I have been to your site quite a few times and looked at all your mods . I would definatley not sell it if i were you . that is probably the nicest 330ex i have ever seen . you should just buy an old 4x4 not a new one . like a 87'trx 350 thy go awesome in the mud and you can pick one up for around $1500 . if you sell it you'll regret it

 

You probably wont get that much for it, most people wont spend that kind of money on a quad that has had the engine pumped up that much.I wish the best for you if you do sell it though.

 

I will trade u a 2000 Scrambler 500 4x4 for it.You will have 4x4 and be quick.

 

I Just don't know what to do.

I was actually offered 5,500 for it 2 months ago. A local guy was looking for a race quad. And he told me once i got it back together he would give me 5,500 for it. But i never did it because i wanted to keep it.

I could buy a used 4x4, and then just keep my 330 as a racer. Which i still want to do.

I am just so mad about all this. I ahve been riding here since i've been 7 years old. ANd no one said anything, i get my dream quad running and i can't ride!!!

 

I am in the same situation ,about 3 weeks ago I got a 250x and now all the trails are being closed! everyone is either building a house in MY trails or just being *** and saying there is no more riding on there land . Now its a big trend to call the cops on me everytime i take my wheeler out of my driveway !

But you should definatly keep your 330! I plan to do pretty much all the same mods you have for your 330EX .

nobodys got any place to ride close to their house, and if you do, consider yourself very lucky. all the spots by me got developed, I have to drive an hour just to get something good to ride on. and when I get there, I'm glad I got a quad that rips.

I'll putt around on a 4x4 when I get old.

 

try to strike a deal with your neighbors. see what they dont like and whatever else it takes. i say keep it, you have one bad *** quad. i personally would like to have it

 

I have decided not to sell it.

I really do need to come up and ride with you guys. This summer i'll get up there. In June!

I gotta get all the kinks worked out. Mainly my spark plug, and my carb is restricting the performance need a new one..but don't got the bucks! Darn Women.

Anyways..i think the plug will correct most of the problem since its old. its the orginal one.
