I hate this, 250ex's don't get into shops for another week!!!!. But i'm in australia, I hear heaps of good stuuff about them but I can't have mine, but I can't complain, I get cheap K&N filters and custom roo racing pipes.
Am going to get stock 400ex rear rims and tyres before it leave the shop.Hope I enjoy mine as much as you ppl.

georgia banshee what are you talking about i had a recon (same motor as 250EX ) and i constantly beat the hell out of it i was always bounceing it off the rev limiter hittten huge jumps with it never adjusted the vales changed the oil about 7 times in the 3 years i had it ! that was the most bulletproof motor i ever saw . it took constant torture and one time it almost ran completely out of oil and it still was fine .

Why did you all get 250ex's. My name sugestes the 250ex, but after extensive, and I mean extensive reasearch I just couldn't justify 8,500 dollars for a 230cc shaft drive. That I couldn't afford. So now Im getting a 400. They are really too expensive but I know It will stay with me for a long time, you guys will out grow and soon be thrashing your 250ex's. The only reason I think any of you guys would have bought a 250ex is money, and by no means think I'm rich, I am going to struggle to get it(hate these guys with five quads and stuff) but it will actually save you a lot of money and hassle. I have never ridden a sport quad, but I confident I can learn on a 400ex, but I am sensible.
And remember- ride it like you paid for it.

<< GeorgiaBanshee, How did you change the oil on a banshee? A banshee is 2 stroke there isn't any oil to change. You just put 2 stroke oil in the banshee's oil tank and it mixes with the gas and is burnt with the gas. You don't need to change the oil every 2 weeks on a honda 250ex. >>
Hmmmmm...The banshee still has a crank case right? You do have to change the tranny oil in a banshee. How do you think the clutch gets lubed? From the oil in the gas? Don't be silly people.
Also..that 250x engine should last for years and years. Nobody every cleared up what "OHV" means...I am interested in hearing these testimonials. could it mean:
"off highway vehicle"? or "over-head valves"? or "optional hardened valves"? or " obese hillbilly vehicle"? hehehee
