Your right I forgot about the GOLD powerbands but what about the carbon fiber squish band? Install that with an adjust on the fly F40 wing and the down force will add another 7.23 HP to the chassis, you forgot that didn't you?

If you take all the bolts out of the sproket thats also a proven 3hp to the rear. The oil injected sprokets make 4hp too.

I did found another secret too.

When you are all done with your dream quad, you need to take a drill and drill many holes in the axle and wheels. This will greatly reduce the driven power required to rotate the assembly. Also I found that grinding down the sprockets to a thickness that mates up with a bicycle chain and using a bicycle chain for the main drive REALLY reduces the power loss due to friction and weight.

Hey guys you all forgettin about that new Mickey One Lap Air Filter Graphics Kit(AFGK). It adds about 50% more flow and adds 9 rear wheel horespower and 3 frame HP and the sticky suff on the filter already oils the filter so you don't have too. Also to get more power take the gas cap off slide a Harley 1300cc motor in it then put the gas cap on then it will really scream!

Pro400EX you are very correct, but one thing your forgetting. What about Air pressure? The pressure created by the mickeyDunlap Air Filter graphics kit (MDAFGK) off sets the crank and throws the wheel bearings all out of wack, you have to counteract that (when running the MDAFGK) by wearing 12 pound weights on each shoulder, Mickey Dunlap sells a jersey with them built in specifically for that, The mickey Dunlap twelve Pound weight Jersey or the MDTPWJ, he sells it all as a kit for $4000, then your machine will rip, and you'll be ready for the IROC Circuit.

Chris,
it takes more time...what's horsepower? torque x speed. What's speed? dist x time. It will lower your horsepower, but how much is pure guess. I said mid high 40s (understand between 45 and 50).
You might want to consider a Blaster frame. The rest is hard to handle. More power? The Breeze acts exactly like NOS. Which is nothing compared to the 150 Kasea. Now you're talking turbo like power!

A YZ426 will make about 47HP-49HP in a quad frame, slightly less thn in a motorcycle frame due to the added weight of moving parts (axel and additional wheel). It doesn't really matter what the rest of the frame weighs.

What a bunch of crack heads you guys \have it all wrong ! if you put and eton 90 motor in a 400ex frame and put a set of renthals , 44inch superswampers and a bluerace series powerband then you be making somewhere around 2700 RWHP . if you take off the tierods then you can make 2800rwhp ! if you take all the oil out of the motor and fill it with water then you can rev it up to about 75,000 RPM . I dont know the RWHP because it has too much power for a dyno to measure . hope I helped !

I hear if you tie a rope around your neck and then tie the other end to the axle and nail the gas it will really give you some power to throw you back in the seat.
