i just bought a kill switch and the instructions say to attach it to the positive coil wire, which wire is it, i.e. color?

what kind of quad is it?usually the owners manual has a diagram in the back but if not find your coil, it will have 2 wires coming out of it, one goes to a ground the other is positive.
