I am planning on racing Holeshots on my stock 300ex rims (will this be good or should I go with a smaller rim) also what size tire should I go with, and then the tire and wheel will change the gearing so What should I go with on the gearing, should I change the countersprocket or the back on or both, let me know
THANKS

I would go with a 20" tire on the stock rims. the stock rims are very strong, being that they have the rolled edge. a lot of people use 18" for motocross though. whatever you think works best for you.

seeing as you have a 14 tooth sprocket already, some 20" tires would bring you close to stock gearing. if you go with an 18" tire you may want to drop a few teeth on the rear sprocket, maybe try a 35 or 36 tooth.
