Juggalo has been posting here for a long time and his posts are always informative and well thought out. He was also the greater gentleman in this little pissing match over how fast your stupid little 300EX was. It was a STUPID statement to even say that a 300EX is even in the same league as a 250 two stroke. You should have left it alone and not tried to justify what you said with more BS. Juggalo never said he liked the LT better than an R - he simply said it isn't the POS that you said it was. Having known several people with LT's I think he is right - it may not be an R but it was/is a damn fine machine and will SMOOOOOOOOKE any half *** four stroke kids bike like a 300EX.

Even if he is only 16 he has a lot more character than you two do, (JS and CP). The only argument you had left was ******* him out because of his age. WTF does his age have to do with it anyway? I'm 31 - go ahead and take a shot at me.

Will this thread ever end or will you two keep on preaching your total BS stories?

 

Man you guys are something else, I never said my old 300EX came close to beating the lt250. Off the line the lt smoked me. And I'd never be able to catch him, BUT if I were already to spead and cruising down a dirt road or trail and he came up from behind, that it would barely creep by me.

And anyway, I bought the 300ex when I was 18 and it was brand new, it ran perfect for entire time I owned it. It was not stock either.

I have recently been riding in ST. Helens Michigan and A guy on a 300 the same year as mine was there with alot of similar mods, but it didn't run half as well as mine. Looked inside his airbox and you could almost see his filter, the thing was completey dirt covered.

There was also his friend there with a 400EX that had porting and polishing, white bros full pipe, air box mods, and gearing, but the guy hit the rev limiter everytime he raced and lost to a stock 400 ex. But I'm sure if somebody from this forum was there they'd be posting how his stock bike took a tricked out 400ex.
All I know is what I have witnessed, and I have seen many lt's broke down, hell I even pulled one back out of silver lake (with my crappy 300ex)

Shoot, there was a guy on here posting that yellow 400ex's were faster than red ones. This forum is a joke, and for the guy who told me my 300EX had 12 horse power, where did you get that from?? as far as I know 17-18 hp is right.

If juggalo's so informed, where did he come up with lt's beat 250r's in all the shoot-outs? Not that the Mags are right all the time either.

I've had alot of bikes, Honda's are the best.(even though I ride a craptor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] )

Those are all good points, JS. I see we are talking top speed vs drag race although it still surprises me a 300 could hang even close to the top end of an LT.

I also agree that the yellow vs red 400EX post does say alot about the people that post here.

BUT ... I just think you misjudged juggalo a little. I also read that shootout that he is talking about - it is real. They had an R, an LT, a Tecate, and maybe a Banshee and raced them all over a XC style course. It was pretty much a crock - I have seen another shootout online somewhere that said a 400EX whoops all over a 250R. Both of those shootouts are online somewhere - and they are both equally untrue in my opinion but nonetheless there they are for someone to quote.

Anyway, sorry I was a pr!ck in that last post - I am trying to quit drinking coffee this week.

 

Hey 87r, that's cool. You're off coffee, I need to get laid. Yeah, I know I need to be a little nicer, but usually alot of people don't read carefully and turn things around. Makes me mad. Everyone started sounding like we lined up a 300EX against a LT250 for an all out drag race, thats not the case.

first off thanks to the people who defended me. and i also said that in every mag article that i have read LT's won (except for that one that i talked about) also i accept any apologies that were made toward me. i don't have anything against any quads i love em all...but LT is special to me and i get defensive when people say bad things abotu it that aren't true.

 

I have an ESR 310 going on my 250 R right now. I also have a Banshee with mid range pipes. You choose, its your funeral. You said come to Glamis and ride with the big boys, so let's do it. According to your boasts, you should be able to at least keep up with either, although I really doubt you will be within 10 bike lenghts up Olds.
Besides, you said your machine will beat Honda's with 2 grand in them. Dollar for dollar, my *** is yours, Blah Blah Blah. I am not sure if we are going the weekend before or after Halloween, I will let you know. Loser buys the beer.

Oh thats a fair race, 310cc vs 250cc. ooooh big man. Also I never said a quad with $2000 into it, I meant a quad that you buy for $2000, as opposed to the fact I only paid $700 for mine. Do you always race stock machines and claim king of the hill. You probably also steal candy from babies right? Of course your gonna beat me with that set up. Now, when you are ready for a fair race, let me know. Or lend me $500 so I can bore mine out to 300c and we will race. Also I said I can keep up with Banshees, I never said that I beat one.

 

Go back and re-read your own posts. Come to Glamis and run with the big boys or some such trash. I don't think the "big boys" ride Q-racers, do you? Yes, my quad is modified, so, according to you, it should be a tight race. You can hang with stock banshee's, right? Well, Paul Turner's mid-range pipe doesn't add much power at all, it makes a banshee's powerband a little more ridable. Mine is not faster on the top end than a fresh stocker, so it shouldn't be a problem for you. You want me to give you 500 dollars? How about I bet you 500 bucks?
I guess my point is that earlier you were talking all kind of garbage about how the joke is on Honda owners and how dollar for dollar how bad your machine was going to spank them. Well, with all that money you saved on your initial purchase, you should be able to at least show your face? Actually, hill shooting isn't really my thing as there is ALWAYS somebody faster. How about we go and hit some big 'ole jumps and you can show me that superior handling you were bragging about?
Like I said, we are either going the weekend before, or after Halloween. Anybody know which will have the bigger turnout?
Before anybody starts bagging on me for "bashing" other brands, any make or model is welcome in our little group as long as they can make it. We will stop and wait for everybody to catch up. Last Easter there was a 250X, a blaster, a quadracer with a Gixxer moter in it, as well as 2 400EX's, and my Banshee. I just figured I would call this guy out. Bob, if you want to just come on out and ride with some good folks, you are more than welcome, but you and I will race just once, for kicks.

 

ridzhard i don't wanna get in the middle of this and i'm probaly just bein stupid for sayin this but oh well...i see a lot of bad *** QR's in the dunes. like ones that have crotch rocket engines running on alchohal. their all 500's though. and i dunno if you'd still call that at QR...

You know what First of all the glamis big boys comment was not about me, I have never claimed to be a big big boy, but I believe some of the best machines are in Glamis. Next, I see a lot of Suzukis in the dunes so dont give me that trash. Next, Your a dumb ***. I never said that my quad would keep up with a completley tricked and modified 310cc Quad. The closest thing I said was that if a Honda is SLIGHTLY(not an ESR 310cc big bore kit) modified then It is a tight race, but I dont usually win, once again because mine is stock and as I mentioned before, if you bothered to pay attention this whole time, is that I have been able to beat stock hondas. I have never claimed anything otherwise. Next I never said I could beat a banshee, so you want to race me knowing that I admit defeat. You sure pick the easy fights. Next I never said that I have superior handling, I just said that I like the way mine handles better and feels when I ride it.
In this forum there have been a lot who like Suzukis and a lot who like Hondas. The suzuki lovers just talked about how they are underappreciated, while the Honda guys just trashed them.
