What is the top speed on the 400ex stock?

 

I don't know the top speed of the 400EX, but I do know that I've probably only seen it on a couple of occasions. Recently I purchased a digital speedometer for my Ex from Trail Tech. I have only been trail riding since my purchase and on the trails the fastest I have been able to go is 62mph. That speed was reached in 4th gear on a gravel two lane road which has many curves on it. Probably the only time I will see top speed is @ Sand Mountain in Nevada or on a paved road. I think top speeds of quads are overrated. Its not how fast you go, its how fast you get there.

 

I had mine up to about 68MPH next to a 93' XR650L bike. (speedo on it)
