Well, I know I am not the first, but I just broke my swingarm today on my 400EX. It suprised me that it broke cause I didnt think it was that bad of a hit. It broke on the countershaft side right below the pivot bolt. Actually, it pretty much shattered.

I am definetely getting an aftermarket swingarm. What aftermarket swingarms and lengths are people running. I am thinking about staying stock length. I was always happy with how the bike jumped, turned and etc.

That sux.. The same thing happened to me i would stay with stock link but don't buy lonestar. I cracked mine in 3 weeks (the lonestar) and ended up buying a ROLL DESIGN swing-arm no problems after 15 or so crashes at a local mx track

 

TRX how did Lonestar react to you breaking on of their swingarms? Did they warranty it in any way? Also, how did you break it? I broke mine on a +40' double that puts you up in the air big time. I just cased it ever so slightly and that was it.

Honda knows there is a problem. Just call Honda customer service tell them and they will go half on a new one.

 

Honda just gave me a brand new one free for my 2000 400ex. Not bad for a 2 yr. old bike.
I put a burgard's +1 on my bike, seems ok so far.
