I have a 2001 Rubicon with 500 miles on it with no problems so far. Does anyone have Rubi's with high mileage?? Any major problems besides normal wear and tear??? The highest mileage Rubicon that I have encountered had 1,200 miles on it with no problems at all.
Thanks

The Rubi is buy far the best quad Ive ever had.The tranny is awesome for farm use,I have put 400mi on it since I got it about two months ago,its been used every day for chores and various other jobs, and not one problem yet.Only thing is now my 450es seems to collect alot of dust since I got the Rubi.

I have just over 100 miles on my Rubi and so far the only problems I have had are:
1. Rear storage box ripped out on left side. This is from jumping and 35+ mph trail riding over rough terrain. The box only had 2 pair of gloves in it, but the computer is mounted to the top of it and I think the weight contributed to it. Most normal riders would not have the problem.
2. I fitted 27x9x12 Titan 589 M/T's to the front and the right one catches the fender at the front (under the headlight) when I am cornering hard or landing from a jump of any height. I know this is not Hondas fault, but it seems that both sides should rub if there is a problem with the clearance from the factory.
I still love it though.

Well our Rubicon has 753 miles on it and there isn't a ride where it stays out of the mud or water over the engine or higher at some point I would say. For example we go on rides that are 12miles long that take easily 4 hours to get into. Not joking aside they are brutal rides. Ours has had not one problem to date. It has been solid so far and don't expect it to do otherwise. One point I would like to make though. As with ANY QUAD, anytime we ride regardless of how dirty or clean when done we use a power washer to get the mud, grass, silt, and anything else that got on it and the electronic componants washed off. I know some that don't and honestly they seem to have more problems than we do and ours has double the miles(that is regardless of brand). So that does play a part in machines holding up well I believe is keeping on TOP of maitanance,(engine tranny oil, differentials, air filter, etc).

We have 400 trouble free miles on our Rubicon. Mostly mud and snow mileage. One of the reasons that I like the Rubicon is because it is so easy to ride, that even my wife can ride it. And she has only ridden a quad one time (before this one). The Rubicon is one smooth quad !!!!!
