Yellow faster than Red??? Is this true???

Yeah, until somebody posts a press release from Honda, or somebody from Honda says differently, I agree with Eric. I'm not doubting that anybody was told the cam story, or the Yellow faster than red story, but I don't believe anything unless I hear it from a reliable source, or see it myself. If the story is true, shouldn't there be some dealer bulletin or not? To me if something isn't built to the factory specs then it should be recalled, whether it makes the quad faster or not. Just my thoughts. Maybe I'm an idiot.

It is true.
You guys probably know that clear horses 9white or gray) are less subject to fatigue during long runs...and you notice that the yellow EX is brighter than the red. So it is perfectly understandable that yellow EX horsepowers are more peppy and less prone to overheating. Logic.
But now, saying the yellow is faster...I'd rather say the red is slower and yellow slow j/k

It not only matters what you are riding (or what color).. but who it is that is riding. I could be riding my husbands 400ex and he be riding my 300ex and he would probably fly by me! So please.. do not let little tedious things such as paint color affect your decision in purchasing a quad. Test drive both if it makes you feel better and then laugh at the salesperson for telling you such a thing. Really, it sounds rediculous. I heard that red cars have higher insurance rates.. because they have more accidents
