I just got mine in the mail also. I am surprised. I never really had a problem after I changed out that original weak battery. But.... if it is recalled, I will take it in. (sometimes other less significant items are included in the same recall which are not published) <maybe they will also repair the reluctant cold weather "warm - up" shifting. I hope, hope, hope>

Seriously, 800 miles and all I have had to do is change the oil and add gas. That's it. No wrenching required. I love it.

Now is this recall going to include the 450S? Or does the lack of the ESP not contribute to the battery drain problem? I've never had a problem with the battery on mine and have not heard other 450S owners complain.

Thanks for all of the up to date info guys!

I have a '99 Honda Recon that is 6 months old today. just a few days ago, i started having problems with the battery not firing up. when i turn the key it lights up in neutral, but when i hit the start button, it goes errr, dead. my dad and i recharged the battery but it didn't work. we think it is a bad wire that is draining the juice. the lights dim out too. any suggestions? I haven't received a recall notice yet, but I'm really curious to see what they do to fix the problem. Keep us informed as to what they change or replace, O.K.?
