Campy ,
did you totaly miss my point ? YES ! I am saying im not going to be out and buy a 4X4 because its fast not i like the rubicon cause its fast ! The only thing i want to do on a utility is ride in the snow and go SLOW throughtthe mud and haul some stuff around NOT to go fast or speed past other 4X4 s I d say most people arent going to base there decision on which is the fastest if so they should be buying a sport atv .

I think you're missing the point.
These things are not labelled "utility", they're labelled "SPORT-utility".
Why do you think they have such huge engines? So that they have the horsepower to go fast AND have the torque to tow or go mudding.
I own an Xplorer 400 for one, because its 4WD, has good pulling power, and has racks, but two, because its fast enough to stay ahead of my friends' ATVs (mainly Ranchers and Foremen). Its a compromise. Lose some torque in exchange for 2-stroke power, but not so much that you can't pull stuff.
My idea of a pure "utility" quad is something like the Suzuki QuadMaster, or the Polaris Magnum RMK. They don't go fast, they don't look good, and they don't have really peaky engines, but they've got gobs of torque for mudding, pulling, climbing rocky terrain, or doing just about anything slowly.
If anything, the Grizzly 660 and Prairie 650 should be considered "muscle quads" (as stated by 4-Wheel ATV Action Magazine), instead of "utility" or "sport-utility". The engineers don't have to worry about which to design the engine more for, because plenty of torque and horsepower are already available. The phrase, "There's no replacement for displacement," applies here.
