Just put a 14tooth front sprocket on it ,a pipe and filter will make your ex have alot more power.

 

Ex_Master is right. A pipe, filter and 1 tooth bigger front sprocket makes a big difference. You can also get a ATC350X air intake boot to replace the stock 300ex's plus put a couple of holes in the air box lid or buy a motoforce air box lid. These are pretty cheap improvements as well.

 

I dont know how much money you have but you can make it alot faster for $701. I got this out of the feb. 00 ATVSport.

here is how to make your EX a lot faster..but it will cost you

Complete FST 330 kit, 1,200 )

including pipe, cam, piston kit, sleeve, hardened rocker arms, CDI mod, Porting, Polishing, 14 tooth front sprocket, and a 400ex carb.

And your 300ex will kill a pipped 400 in a drag race, have about 35RWHP.

I love mine ) well worth the cash. But then again, i did a lot more than motor mods. I have about 2,500 in all my mods. But it was worth it to me, even though the 400ex owners will say just buy a 400ex..but i'm uniqe i have a 330 )
