I got a 400ex AND a 250ex. It keeps up with the 400ex on the trail. No doubt I could kill the 250 if I wanted to- but it's all in the rider.

Also- has your 250ex been jetted? That can make all the difference in the world. Have you removed the airbox lid? Try getting a K&N airfilter (RockyMountain ATV). Also- Tighten your throttle line. Mine had too much slack.

Try these mods and you should be pulling wheelies no problem. Hell- My wife pulls wheelies on it.

As for jumping and hill climbs- My buddy is the master on my 250ex. That's all he has to ride- and the other day- he made it up a hill that gave me a bad wreck and concussion. (we all have our bad days) but since then- I refuse to take that hill on ANY bike.- regardless- he made it with the 250ex.

The 250ex is a bad *** machine for young, lightweight riders- and beginners. It's got plenty of torque and speed.- don't bash it. It can get the job done. (at least it gives my buddy a boner!)

Your little "I suck...From: Hell" should explain why you can't do anything. I think you are a ***** if you can't get the front end up. My gosh I can get the front end of my 300ex in 4th gear, and you can't get it up at all? Gah what a wuss. How old are you? 6? 7? Maybe 8? If you sit on the back part of the seat you should be able to get it up. Obviously you don't have a clue what you are doing if you get beat by a Bayou 220. Them things are slow as hell (the place where you're from). Sand burm without flipping? What a moron. A Honda 90 will make it up without flipping. My suggestion, go back to powerwheels so you don't get hurt. Oh and jumping...ofcourse your not gonna jump anything when you don't go fast enough. You have to have some speed to be able to jump. Go take some lessons, then if it still is the same, sell it and buy another powerwheels ATV. HAHA...loser.

You should have trained your quad. Thats why Honda reccomends going to Training school before riding your ATV...lol

So where is Hell, California? Somewhere near Bakersfield, I'm willing to bet! Even hauling me around at 220 lbs., the little 250 goes pretty fast. However fast you are going, it's fast enough for the little 250s limited suspension.

Quote:I'm getting killed everytime by bayou 220's. Unquote. Its you if you getting beat by a bayou 220. My Recon is about 50 pounds more and its such a much better designed machine than the bayou 220. Maybe you should trade that 250ex in on a Bayou 220 then your problems would be solved. Chet
