Honda 250R!!!!! Why else would you race with a 12-15 yr old bike when for close to the same money you can buy a brand-new Banshee. Banshee is the dune king, but how many states have dunes to ride in???

Banshee was a good answer to the 250R but not a great answer.

Ahh yes, the atc 90. The original atc 90's were designed so that the axle slides out and handlbars turn simply so you can fit the atc in the trunk of your car for transporting! What a design.

But seriously, the 250r gets my vote.

I said I'd find the link for the Sbarro 1000. I don't know if it's the best...but the most awesome for sure!!! Any TT amateur here?

The Polaris Sportsman, everything an ATV should be , 4x4, great suspension, awesome ride, plenty of power, comfortable for two

 

You've got to go with what proved itself in battle and longevity.
Best Sport bike ever: 1988 Honda 250R (these things are still winning races, something the Banshee never could do)
Best Utility bike: Honda 300 fourtrax 4x4 (most ever sold, most reliable)

Best mudder.As much as I hate to say this.The polaris sportsman 500.It is just awesome in the mud.

I am not one to talk to about polaris's reliablity record.I don't have much experince with them.Ut jviper85 trailblazer is a piece of junk.It is slow,heavy.and the most unreliable qaud I have ever saw.The engine is fine but the rest isn't

 

Dill, you give a great point. The ATC 90 is what started it all, but that Sbarro 1000 looks all tricked out. I had never even heard of it! You know any more info on it? I would like to ride one if they were produced and not just tested!

 

OK, I'll go with my "knowledge" abot Sbarro...

Sbarro is a design/engineering school in Switzerland, and they build all sort of crazy stuff. I don't think any of the projects has ever hit the roads, but they always look awesome, and are technologically VERY advanced and original...how about a bike wheel with no hubs? They did it (and more than once)...how about a "hunting rolls Azure"...they did it!
I hnk if the had been american,you would have seen already a YZF powered Sportsman...or whatever everyone KNOWS is awesome, but the manufacturers don't have the guts to build...

Now the quad...I think its name is B1 (why??), it's powered by a 145hp 1000 FZR yamaha engine. They did build at least one, and they even say that they could build others if you ask them (no the kind they recive tons of emails and start a 100 quads production...rather you have them build one especially for you...
I think I have a mag somewhere where they test it...but I'll have to find it...
