I just put a set of works shocks on my 400 and now have a nearly new set of stock 400 shocks laying around. My wife has a 94 300 and I'm thinking maybe I could use them on the 300, giving it a couple more inches of travel and an over all better shock.
Plus....She probably wouldn't be so chapped about what I spent on the new ones

I know they will work with 400ex a-arms, but im not sure if you can use them with the stock a-arms. I got some a-arms for sale if youd like them.

From what i understand, 400Ex shocks will only work with 400Ex a-arms, and you have to buy a bracket to weld onto the frame so the upper shock mounts will work. Go to ATV RACING, they sell the bracket.

hope that helps

Oh yeah...kinda a given, but you need 400Ex tire rods too

let me know if you do this because i'm considering this for my 250X
