well it depends on what you are riding i have a 400ex and i can sit or stand you just have to figure out wich way is best for you. when you get good you can shift on the wheely my best ever i started in 1st gear and shifted till i got to 5th and rode it just short of a mile... another thing if you do a wheely down the road standing lean to one side or the other and you can stear it a little.

yes, i got it finally! It comes up nice and easy...no clutch needed. Have not committed to a full blown balancing act yet....soon though. Also I have never had a quad before but i love this thing! Power seems a tad down...I had a 99 WR400 dirtbike and it rocked! But it goes plenty quick though, and handles nice. Also love the way you can slide the *** end at will around corners!

You don't even need a six-pack rack. I have the stock Grab-Bar on my old mojave 250 and the only time I wheelied it iver backwards was when I hit a rock that made me go to the side first than I fliped backwards but it was sort of sideways at the same time so a stock grab bar can do a pretty good job. The only time it doesn't work is when you are uphill and do it then the quad crushes you and it hurts like a BEATCH

yeah the stock grab bar on the 400 will holf you up perfect. i've been on that thing so many times you wouldn't believe it. i've slammed it hard against the ground and i didn't even scratch it. its strong. it'll hold you. i know i was scared of going that far back at first but when i did it the first time i saw it was ok and then after that it was just no big deal. just pull in the clutch slam the back brake and you'll be back on 4 wheels.
