I was wondering if there are any changes in 400ex's since they first came out? I heard that there was something they did but im not sure what.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

A few things that I know of:

- A mudflap to protect (ya right) the battery/electronics.
- They changed some of the screws/bolts to have hex heads instead of phillips heads.
- Changes to the intake manifold design and jetting.

 

i think the front shocks where revalved, some of the mags said they where too soft in 99, and i never heard of it again. my 2002 turns very level, never dives in the corners. they also made the red one faster and the yellow one handle better. (hehe, here we go again!)

 

Yeah from what I hear the little yellow 90's were also updated and now they can outrun Blaster's.

 

So would it make a difference of what year i get?

Yeah well yellow is still pretty fast. Yes it would make a difference in which one you get so ge the red one dude.
