Rancher High Lifter skid plates
#3
I don't have one, but my friend that i ride with does. I helped him take it off due to dropping a spacer from the carb down on it. So i got a good look at it and I liked it a lot. I went with a plastic Armodillo, but if I had to do it over again I might have went with the HL Skid. IT fits snug and is very nice. However like everything else there, OVER PRICED. Just my 2cents.

what other places are there to buy stuff on line other than high lifter? i'm looking to buy the warn 2500, 2-27x12x12, 2-27x10x12 mudbugs, and a performance kit for my rancher. i also liked the skid plates too, but i think my rancher will be heavy enough after i put on those mudbugs. later - dana

Do not get the 27in. Mud bugs your bike does not have the power to turn them over in the mud. The bike will just set there burn the clutch and not move. You can use a 25in. tall tire but do not go no taller with a stock motor. You can get away with a 10in. wide in the front and a 10 in. wide in the back and that works good.
