they are a very sticky tire, they hook up like crazy. they usually slide very well, but can catch something and send you another direction. they wear very fast, i have had my 400ex for 2 weeks and they are wearing quite a bit. hey roadracer96, good to see another person from the chippewa vally on here! i am in altoona. where do you go MXing?

Ive been heading down to the track in Arkansaw, by Durand. It's a pretty cool track for quads. It's 10 bucks for the day or 150 a year for a membership. Send me an email maybe we could hook up and go riding there or somewhere else.
Where do you do your riding?

i really think the tires are good. they grip well for me. although they wear fast. i ride on hard pack or a rock road and they do wear. i need some suggestions on tires that hold up good on the 400ex. in my opinion i don't think these tires can be too bad if Dirt Wheels rates them in their top 10 favorite tires!!

we go to rock dam most of the time, but every once and a while we get a wild hair and go 2 hours north to dead horse in loretta, it is by ladysmith. lots of mud, very fun! how do you get to the track in durand? i have a bunch of family that lives there! if you ever have lived there, you probably have heard of the sabelko's (that is my dad's side) are there any trails around there, or is it just the track?

I still have the stock tires on my quad, and run on sand/clay with occasional waterholes most of the time. I haven't had any problems as of yet. I've purchased Holeshots for the rear, but haven't mounted then yet. I am planning on doing a little MX and possible Hare Scrambles.. A couple places I ride at have alot of junk laying around, but so far no holes or problems with tread ware.

I still have the stockers on my 400, and I love them. We ride everywhere, desert, sand, hardpack, riverbed, mountains, trails, cinders, etc. I have ridden my bike faithfully at least once a week since I bought it in March, and I have never had a flat (and I don't run tire slime, either, although I probably should!) Everyone I ride with has had flats but me. Hey....maybe it's cuz they are guys, and they don't look where they are going! Just kidding!

My tires are great for everywhere I ride, even on the MX track. I am just going to wear these things down until they are nothing, and then I am probably going to get some Razors. All in all the stockers are a great tire!
