going to buy a 200X to play with... questions.

Rob, my 400EX is nearly as fast as your R. On top end, it might even pull on it.
I can tell you, unless you changed the gearing on your 200X, the motor cant rev high enough
for it to hit 65MPH.
My 400EX will, and does KILL KILL KILL my 200X.
I cant beleive you even compare the two in power, and quickness.
What I was saying about the 1st gear speeds is, my 400EX will top out at about 25MPH in first.
The 200X, about 15MPH. Not only is the 400EX have a higher 1st gear top speed, It GETS THERE FASTER. My EX gets to 25 faster than the 200X gets to 15 or 20. And it only gets worse.
The 200X is a fun little wheelie machine because of its nice torque and low gearing, and light front end. However, im almoast insulted that you feel the 400EX is slow enough to be compaired with a 200X. My 400 will KILL my 200X in a race. Need I take footage to prove it?
(or many still photos actually, as I have no way of getting vid into my computer)

there were little differences between the 250r quad and trike motors.....trike will still eat a 250r atv in a staight line.....the weight differences does help
the 4th wheel is only useful for stopping and holding the back down if you get messy going into a corner
my 350x is an awesome trike
and the 200x was awesome wee machine in there day.......and with the right rider.....are quick!
don't worry about 1st gear,.....only good for slow starts and trails!
on the track ya launch em like any 4 stroke.......valves bouncing......in 3rd.....dump the clutch and let the clutch do the work.....thats the only way to stay competitive with a 2 stroke....!......lol......lot of fun with 350cc between ya legs!
the 200x may not be king when horse power is concerned......but awesome in every other area!......comes down to rider ability and tolerance for excitement! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
