i want to get this straight once and for all.I have heard the 300EX will go 60mph stock 54,63,and 52.when someone please tell me the speed their 300EX goes stock or did go stock because I am supposed to be getting one Christmas.

I think the 300ex will go about 54 stock but you can it a lot faster with aftermarket parts. I have seen a beefed up 300ex beat a banshee with a fmf pipe.

 

To test the speed of my 300EX, i did the truck speedo method (redneck, and no good i know), but my modded 300EX, (wiseco high comp., web cam, porting, oversize valves, etc..) will run 68.

 

I agree with 2002grizz. At stock, they run about 54. Every mag I read said that and I did that redneck thing too. I had a car follow me down the road and I had mine at 55, when it was stock.

Mine ran 56-58 stock. Honest. A lot of it depends on the elevation. I just raced a camry, not sure of the model but it was pretty new, yesterday. Honest. I was ridin in my yard and 2 girls went by so I decided to chase them up the road. I knew who they were, so after I decided to quit because I could smell rubber burning, I headed back. I called them when I got home since they didn't live to far from me. I asked them how fast they were going. The said they got to 64. The only engine mods on mine are White Bro's E-series slip on, and K&N High Flow air filter.

 

on pavement mine will hit 60mph with a +1t sprocket it only ads 1-2mph
