The new Recon will have the head and oil cooler found on the 250EX. Will the Recon have to give up the recoil starter? The 250EX has no recoil starter, and as I recall, the oil cooler fittings come off the front end of the engine where the recoil starter would be. Personally, I have never had to use mine, but it's nice to know you have one if needed.

I found the 02's on their web site, and it does list a recoil starter.
