Recon starter problem
#1
Somtimes When i go to start my quad after washing it off or riding through some mud it wont even turn over. (The solenoid i am assuming), makes a clicking noise and the neutral light dies out, after turining the key on and off the light goes back on and the sequence repeats, other times the thing clicks once and just dies. Usually i just take the seat off and play with the wires, so to speak, and it will fire right up just like nothing happened. Usually the connections underneath are bone dry too, its very strange, Some other people i know have had this problem too my two friends, one with a foreman 450 the other with a bayou 220 and the third with a timberwolf. Thus i dont think its a honda problem, Anything would be helpfull, Thanx!

With the light going out like that, you for sure have a connection problem somewhere.
finding it is the fun part. I would start at the battery & go from there.
Make sure to check any grounds going to the frame from the wiring harness, batery, starter.
Good luck
